Homemade Vapour Rub

A homemade vapour rub? Yes please! I don’t know about your family, but we’ve all had colds and coughs these last few weeks. This is a simple recipe you can make using ingredients you may have at home or everything is available in our store.

Ingredients

• 5 Tbsp Coconut Oil
• 2 Tbsp Shea Butter
• 1.5 Tbsp Australian Beeswax Pellets
• 20 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
• 5 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
• 5 drops Lavender Essential Oil
• 5 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
• 5 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
• 50mL Jars or 10mL Lip Balm Tins

Method

1. Melt together:
   • 5 Tbsp Coconut Oil
   • 2 Tbsp Shea Butter
   • 1.5 Tbsp Beeswax Pellets
2. Allow the mix to cool a little - around 2-5 minutes
3. Add the following essential oils:
   • 20 drops Eucalyptus
   • 5 drops Peppermint
   • 5 drops Lavender
   • 5 drops Rosemary
   • 5 drops Tea Tree
4. Stir the oils in the place in a jar ready to use.

Recipe makes enough for 3 x 50ml jars Always patch test prior to use. Happy making!
